Soma Dance Method was built for bodies that get left out of most movement spaces, and that includes how this website works. Access to the site matters as much as access to the classes.

Our approach

We aim to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA standards. The site uses semantic HTML, menus and forms you can navigate by keyboard, and color contrast chosen for readability. If your device is set to reduce motion, the site's animations settle into still layouts.

Known limitations

Some of our video content doesn't have captions yet, and we're adding them as the library grows. If a missing caption is a barrier for you, tell us and we'll prioritize that video.
